RDP is used as independent and additional adhesive in glue joints. For modification of dry building mixes on plaster and cement basis. Redispersible polymer powder on the basis of vinyl acetate polymer and vinyl ether , which has polyvinyl alcohol as protective colloid.
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is made from pulverized refined cotton, alkalized with sodium hydroxide (liquid caustic soda) solution, etherified with methyl chloride and propylene oxide, then neutralized, obtained after filtering, drying, crushing and sieving. HPMC-50 is a special developed HPMC with suitable viscosity for gypsum based products.
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a colorless or pale yellow, flavorless, and safe fibrous or powdered solid. It is produced through a chemical reaction that involves alkaline cellulose and either ethylene oxide or chloroethanol. This reaction results in a non-ionic, soluble cellulose ether that is non-toxic and easy to dissolve.
The full English Name of CMC is Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose which is obtained by chemical modification of natural fiber. It is a water-soluble cellulose ether, ordourless, tasteless, and non-toxic with white/off-white powder or granular.
This white powder is derived from natural plants through a process of modification, high etherification, and spray drying. Exhibits excellent rapid thickening ability coupled with a certain degree of water retention.
It is made from vinyl acetate through polymerization and alcoholysis, and is a white, stable, and non-toxic water-soluble polymer in the form of powder, flake, or flocculent solids.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer will adsorb on the surface of cement particles to carry negative charges, forming electrostatic repulsion, promoting mutual dispersion of cement particles and damaging the flocculation structure, releasing encapsulated water molecules to participate in flow.
Gypsum retarders extend the setting time of gypsum and determine the operational time during the construction or molding process of gypsum based materials.
